Christine Winiarz Searle, CPA, CMA
I’m a former public servant with extensive expertise in small business policy development, community economic development, planning, finance, audit and evaluation. Throughout my professional career, I volunteered on boards and committees of several local, provincial and national non-profit organisations, earning recognition for governance and financial leadership.
A natural troubleshooter, I thrive on providing practical insights about how government works with community-based small businesses and non-profit organizations to benefit citizens and stakeholders.
Over the years, I developed the WindSea Compass – a practical tool to help non-profit leaders chart a course to good governance, and navigate shifts and shoals successfully en route to their destination. The WindSea Compass is the foundation for the advisory services I offer through WindSea Governance.
After moving to Prince Edward County in 2014, I continued to volunteer on several local non-profit organisations, while serving on Prince Edward County’s Community and Economic Development Commission for two terms of Council. Currently, I serve as Treasurer on the board of the Prince Edward County Radio Corporation and as a member of the Governance Committee of the Prince Edward County Arts Council.
